What is BS3621?
In all cases it is good practice to fit British Standard Approved locks to all of your exterior doors. In most cases if you have home insurance this will be a requirement for cover from many insurance companies and will reduce the premiums you have to pay.
Approved locks carry the British Standard Kite Mark and are approved to BS3621, a rigorous test standard to which the locks must perform.
